Kane County Baseball League

After a long and cold winter, nothing says Spring more than the start of baseball season. Join us for our competitive travel league, running April 1st through July 13th. Our program includes 12-14 regular season and automatic entry into our end of season tournament all for one price!

Ages

What age levels does the KCBL have?

Our league includes competitive play for ages 8-14.

When

What time of the year does this program run?

Our season begins April 1st (weather permitting) and concludes on July 13th with final games of our end of season tournament.

Where

Where are games typically held?

Each team provides their own home field for regular season games. Our goal is to split the season between home and away games.

Umpires

Who provides the umpires?

The home team is responisble for providing an umpire for regular season games.

Games

How many games will be played? What days of the week?

Teams will play 12-14 regular season games. Games are based on each team's availability to play throughout the week. Coaches can work together to play games on weekends or doubleheaders as needed.

Extra Costs

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

There are no additional cost for the regular season and end of season tournament! If your team registers for addtional tournaments and events, there may be fees required.

Frequently Asked Questions

My team is not located in Kane County, can we still join the KCBL?

Absolutely! Our league is based in Kane County both teams from surrounding counties are welcome and encouraged to join!

Does my team have to participate in the End of Season Tournament?

Your team is automatically included in the tournament, however you are not required to participate. The cost of the tournament is part of the registration fee and is not refundable if your team does not participate. We will request confirmation of your team's participation by June 1st.

Where is the End of Season Tournament held?

The end of Season Tournament locations will be announced before the start of league play.
